| Paula White Compares Trump to Jesus | | View on Our YouTube Channel | Washington, DC Apr. 06, 2026 - Dateline Washington, DC, April the 5th, 2025. Paula White compares Trump to Jesus. Paula White, American pastor, author, televangelist, and spiritual advisor to President Trump, stirred controversy on Easter Sunday as she likened Trump to Jesus. Trump created the White House Faith Office in February 2025 and appointed White as a senior spiritual advisor. In an Easter lunch at the White House, White thanked Trump for his championship of faith, though failing to speak to his lack of faith, church attendance, or even his use of religion for monetary and political gain. She compared Trump to Jesus, talking of how he has been persecuted and even arrested by his detractors like Jesus. Paula states that Trump as he stands near her soaking in the eagle building praise. You are here because God and because of you, Paula says. No one has paid the price like you have paid the price. And it almost cost you your life. You were betrayed and arrested and falsely accused. this and paula continues it's a familiar pattern that our lord and savior showed us it didn't end there for him and it didn't end there for you god always had a plan paula says on the third day he rose and defeated evil he conquered death hell and the grave and because he rose we all know that we can rise paula says and sir because of his insurrection you rose up Because he was victorious, you were victorious. And I believe that the Lord said to tell you this. Paul is assuming this, right? That the Lord said to tell you this. Because of his victory, you will be victorious in all that you put your hands to. Because God is with you. And God is using you. That she called for a laying on hands of Trump. Paula White has always profited from her prosperity religion through her church conning her followers into believing the more they gave to her, the more they would get in return. She now uses her White House position to add to her sales pitch. She used her position in the White House to garner more profits selling religious items to her followers Richard W. Painter, chief White House ethics lawyer for President George W. Bush from 2005 to 2007, once said of White, quote, This prosperity gospel scam by Paula White tests the boundaries between religious freedom and criminal mail fraud and wire fraud. Send me money and God will make you rich. Now she uses her White House position to make her sales pitch. Her church is reported to have received $150 million between 2004 and 2006. Now for my commentary. Now Paula White is playing to Trump's ego so that she can continue to make a profit at the expense of the gullible in the name of religion using her fame from her senior spiritual advisor position at the White House.
The audacity in claiming God's support for evil Trump is almost too astounding for words, but I'll try. Jesus stated in Matthew 7:15, "Beware of false prophets who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves." This is from the ESV. Paula White is precisely who Jesus spoke of, who would compare Donald Trump to Jesus to maintain her White House position that she uses for profit. She is not of God, but of the devil. What Trump has done in life as president is not anything a Christian would condone. Yet many evangelicals blindly buy the deception that he is supportive of Christians. Until Trump, no evangelical in his right mind, would vote for a serial adulterer. a woman molester, con artist, convicted felon, insurrectionist, one who would take food and health care millions of the needy to give tax breaks to the rich and some goons to beat, lock up indefinitely and sometimes kill the foreigner. The Bible tells us to be kind to. And reality, in reality, he uses evangelicals and their prejudices And he privately laughs at their gullibility. This is the real Trump at the National Prayer Breakfast. He thought what he said was clever, but here's what Trump says. Mike Johnson is a very religious person. He does not hide it. He'll say to me sometimes at lunch, sir, may we pray? I'll say, excuse me, we're having lunch. What was intended to be humor displays the contempt Trump has for the practices of Christians and for God. For Trump, let not prayer and thanks to God delay his lunch. A viewer asked Trump during a Fox and Friends interview once, "What's your relationship with God like? How do you pray?" Trump answered, and I quote, Okay, I think it is good. I do well with evangelicals. I love evangelicals. And I have more people saying they pray for me. I can't even believe it. They are so committed. They are so believing. They say, sir, you're going to be okay. I pray for you every night. I mean, everybody, almost, I can't say everybody, but almost everybody that sees me, they say it, unquote. No Christian would be amazed. Only a person who never attends church and has never had faith would find wonder in the promise of prayer on their behalf. In truth, much of his amazement is in the fact that he knows he is evil and he is amazed that these gullible people are buying his subterfuge about religion. You know, in reaction to Trump's statement. Then MSNBC, which is now MSNOW, host Joe Scarborough sat silent for a moment, but he could not contain his derisive laughter. Joe reacted by saying, quote, I mean, really, seriously, just go to church once, right? Just get the crib notes, right? When somebody asks you what your relationship is to God, don't go, well, evangelicals vote for me, Joe Scarborough. Kamala Harris is a Baptist with a Jewish husband, but is a member of a church, attends services regularly. Joe Biden, his previous opponent for president, is a Catholic and is recorded in history as having attended church more often while in the White House than any president since they started keeping track of it almost a century ago. Hillary Clinton, his previous opponent, is a devout Methodist who belongs to and attends church. During and after all the attacks in the 2016 campaign, pastors sent her morning devotionals. She stated, and I quote, "It was the first thing I read in the morning." She said, "You kept me going. You gave me a lot of strength." Obama is a Christian who also regularly attends church. Not a Muslim, as the right tries to portray him. In reality, the Democrats are the Christians who hold dear the teachings of Jesus by following him, following his commands to help the widows, the children, the needy, not the insanely wealthy. You know, the Republicans put on a good show of being Christian. But once you dig into their hatred, prejudices, and constant support for big in errors over foreigners and the needy and the sick, They fell miserably as Christians.
