| Second Aviator of the F-15E Strike Eagle Rescued in Iran | | View on Our YouTube Channel | Washington, DC Apr. 06, 2026 - I will begin with my first article for today. Washington, D.C., April 4, 2026. The second pilot of the F-15E downed over Iran rescued. Late Saturday night, the second aviator of the F-15E Strike Eagle fighter jet was rescued from the Zagros Mountains in southwestern Iran. where he managed to escape and evade by hiding in a mountain crevice, despite the fact that he had an injured foot. The first aviator, the pilot, was recovered just hours after ejecting safely from his plane by one of two HH-60W Jolly Green II combat rescue helicopters searching for him. It would be over a day later, that the second member of the team would be located. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps affiliated Bosnian military units and armed tribesmen conducted a massive search for the downed airmen. However, both managed to evade capture until rescue. Some help was given through military intelligence and CIA efforts to misdirect the Iranian forces elsewhere in their search and away from our airmen. Now, my commentary on this. I'm happy to see that our military has not suffered from the poor leadership under Pete Hegseth and others incompetent in the Trump administration efforts. The search and rescue operations went off without a hitch, aided by intelligence efforts to mislead the enemy forces. However, Hegseth has removed many of the generals with experience, removing General Randy George just last Thursday during a time when the nation is at war, simply because he advised against Hegseth stopping promotions of officers simply because they were women or black. Two other generals were removed for conflicts with headsets over unfair or unreasonable policy decisions. I thank God for the rescue of our pilots, but I pray that for our nation, due to the continued incompetence of the Trump leadership that degrades the capability, the ethics, and the moral standards of our nation.
